Rachel Nye Venter is a science medical lecturer and writer who enjoys sharing knowledge on science-based health and wellness practices. As a scientist, Rachel applies her phytomedicinal background into health product design and innovation. Rachel received a Bachelor of Science degree in oral health at Southern Illinois University and later obtained a Master of Health Science degree at MCP Hahnemann, Drexel University in physician assistant studies with a focus in primary health care. Thereafter, was awarded the European tropEd Master of International Health degree specializing in International Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Universitätsmedizin in Berlin. Rachel later received a Business Management Diploma from the University of Stellenbosch Business School in Cape Town. Rachel has worked on international health projects with the United Nations, World Health Organization, National Institutes of Health and the European Union. Rachel lives in the San Francisco area with her husband Wilhelm, her dog Gerry and rabbit Dorian.
