Amla
I’ve been using for about 3 weeks now and haven’t noticed much of a difference but I enjoy the flavor! It reminds me of green tea. Hoping it will help reverse some of my greys.
Amla, or Indian Gooseberry, is traditionally used in Ayurveda as a beauty tonic.* It’s a small, thorny tree whose fruit is dried and ground. Amla is one of the greatest protectors for the skin, helping protect skin from oxidative stress and accelerated aging.* Our organic Amla powder is a 10:1 concentrate.
A light powder that sits tannic on the tongue with a very tart flavor and subtle hints of tropical fruitiness. Pairs well with citrus, berries, and matcha. Use between 1/8–1/3 tsp of this Amla supplement daily.
Amla is a key ingredient in Amla Strawberry Rose Sorbet. Find the recipe in The Moon Juice Manual.
Organic Amla Fruit Extract

I am thrilled to add Amla to my Moon Juice staples each day. Ive been using it for a few weeks and im beginning to notice a finer texture to my skin. My skin seems more poreless and feels very smooth. Im keeping this in my artillery!!!
I have been making my own capsules with the handy capsule maker for years now and am excited to add a beauty formula to the mix. Inspired by the moonjuice manual, I use a combination of amla, schisandra, and tulsi, sometimes along with other beautifying plants, as an easy and quick way to incorporate these gems into my life. The amla also tastes great in smoothies!
