Our potent 25% AHA + BHA complex combines Glycolic Acid to break down dead cells and gluey dirt and help stimulate collagen production, Lactic Acid to help encourage cellular turnover, and Salicylic Acid (derived from Willow Bark) to help penetrate and unclog pores. Niacinamide (B3) and adaptogenic Reishi are the magic, helping to hydrate and restore the barrier while soothing irritation.

Acid the acne away

I have had folliculitis and acne for a long time around my hairline (and some on my face) and I've been using this and Plump Jelly + SuperHair for around 2 weeks everyday before bed. I have noticed a significant different in my acne and my hairline has a bunch of baby hairs growing back in too! Very happy with the results

Amazing for dry skin

I love this product. I have very dry skin but don’t want to use a 10min peeling mask more than once a week and sometimes glycolic acid just doesn’t do the trick. This product does an amazing job of keeping dry skin at bay without feeling like my skin has been stripped. I like to use an overnight mask after. A little bit of product goes an along way. Definitely will repurchase

Is Acid Potion safe for acne prone skin?

Acne prone skin benefits from liquid exfoliation, especially Salicylic Acid since it works inside the pore. A chemical exfoliator exfoliates without micro-tears and helps skin texture. If you are new to Acids, you may experience purging if they are not used to exfoliating – this should resolve within a week.

Does Acid Potion increase photosensitivity?

Yes, please always wear SPF if you are using Acid Potion BHA liquid exfoliant. This is true with any exfoliating product - your skin will be more sensitive to the sun. Also, if you are battling discoloration, SPF should be an essential part of your regimen.

Is Acid Potion OK to use with a Retin-A treatment for acne?

We do not recommend combining our beauty potion with any retinoid treatment for acne, especially if you have sensitive skin. We recommend using Acid Potion on a day when you are not using a retinoid treatment.

How do I use Acid Potion?

Depending on your skin type, use our liquid exfoliator 1-3 nights in a row or every night. Shake into palm and apply onto clean face/neck with fingertips or a cotton pad. Don’t rinse! Follow with Plump Jelly.

Is Acid Potion a toner?

Nope. Acid Potion is a chemical exfoliator – think of it as a liquid facial. It shouldn’t be used in place of a toner in your skin care routine. It should be used on clean skin and follow it up with something hydrating after like Plump Jelly.
