Ancient Beauty Tonic

Pearl Powder has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a beauty tonic and potent source of amino acids, trace minerals, and antioxidants. Made from freshwater pearls ground into a fine powder, it's a natural ingredient that's safe to both ingest and apply topically — a ritual trusted across generations for radiant skin.*

Collagen, Activated + Mineral-Rich

Pearl Powder doesn't directly contain collagen, but its rare nutrient profile — rich in amino acids, the unique pearl protein conchiolin, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and silica — stimulates the fibroblast "builder cells" deep in the skin to produce more of it, evening tone and softening fine lines. Those same minerals nourish well beyond the face: use it topically as a translucent finishing powder to set makeup, blur pores, and reduce shine, or add it to your toothpaste to support remineralization, strengthen enamel, and gently lift discoloration.*

    Great! Will continue to purchase

I’ve heard great things about pearl powder. My naturopath suggested I take it due to low calcium on an HTMA and pointed me to Moon Juice. I put 1/2 a teaspoon in my yogurt for breakfast, and can’t even tell it’s there. I’m looking forward to the benefits! It also came in a cute little glass jar!

    So far, so good.

So far, I'm happy with this. It dissolves beautifully in cold and hot beverages without any weird taste. Hoping it will help bring my daughter's calcium levels up.

    One of my favorite supplements

I tried a pearl powder from another company and the taste was awful. This has no taste, which is perfect! I mix it in with my Magnesi-om every night about an hour before bed. I’ve only been using it for a couple of weeks, so I don’t know if my eyes are improving yet.

Can’t even tell it’s in my morning bevy

Dissolves easily and actually makes a difference - had a sore tooth and that has gone away! Amazing! Don’t even need a frother, it dissolves easily w/ a spoon.

    So far so good

Have only used a handful of times but so far so good! I haven’t noticed any major differences in my body yet but do not get stomach cramps or any other negative other issues after eating. Blends nicely into my smoothies and overnight chia seed pudding.

FAQs

What is pearl powder good for?

Pearl Powder has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a beauty tonic and potent source of amino acids, trace minerals, and antioxidants. Pearl Powder supplements help stimulate the body’s natural collagen, even skin tone, and eradicate free radicals responsible for fine lines. Pearl Powder can also be used as a translucent, skin-nourishing finishing powder that helps set makeup, blur pores, and reduce shine on oily skin.

What is pearl extract made from?

Pearl extract is first made from freshwater pearls ground into a fine powder. The pearl powder is then further processed to extract the essential compounds, such as calcium, amino acids, and the unique protein conchiolin, which stimulates skin regeneration and collagen production.

Is it safe to use pearl powder?

Pearl Powder is a natural ingredient used safely in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over a thousand years. It is safe to ingest Pearl Powder and apply it topically. When adding pearl powder to your skin care routine, we suggest first performing a patch test on a small area of your skin.

Is pearl powder good for your teeth?

Pearl powder contains high concentrations of essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and silica, which are crucial in supporting tooth remineralization and strengthening enamel. Adding Pearl Powder extract to your toothpaste can also whiten teeth and assist in lifting discoloration.

Does pearl powder have collagen?

Although Pearl Powder doesn’t directly contain collagen, Pearl’s rare nutrition profile, rich in minerals and amino acids, stimulates the fibroblast “builder cells” deep within the skin layers to produce more collagen, resulting in radiant, youthful-looking skin. To boost collagen production, add pure pearl powder topically to your skin care regimen or take it as a dietary supplement.

Pearl powder pairs well with everything — here are our favorite ways to use it.

  • Mix 1/2 tsp of Pearl extract into your morning coffee for 340mg of Calcium! Since Calcium competes with Magnesium for absorption in your gut, use Pearl in AM for healthy skin, hair, and nails, and Magnesi-Om® in the PM for rest, relaxation, and regularity.
  • Add a pinch of pure Pearl powder to your favorite moisturizer in your skin care routine. We love Cosmic Cream™, which is full of Emollient Fatty Acids and adaptogens to seal in moisture and protect from collagen breakdown.
  • Add a spoonful of manuka honey and a pinch of Pearl supplement to your palm. Massage onto face, let sit for 20 minutes, then rinse. Pearl helps to even skin tone while the antimicrobial honey heals and hydrates.
